Commonwealth Games 2026 India-Pakistan final in the boxing ring. Its equations have started to be formed and if everything goes well then the final will be seen in the boxing ring of Glasgow on 1st August. Recently, Indian boxer Jadumani Singh had defeated Pakistani boxer Sumama Rehman in the round of 16 match with his powerful punches. This time the thrill can be fourfold because the stake will be in the final and the gold medal will be at stake. The final equation seems to be forming between the boxers of India and Pakistan in the women’s 60 kg weight category.

Boxers from India and Pakistan have made it to the semi-finals

On July 28, in the quarter-final match of women’s 60 kg weight category, boxers from India and Pakistan won their respective matches and made it to the semi-finals. Pakistan’s boxer Fatima Zahra defeated New Zealand’s Jordan Wilson 5-0 in the quarter-finals. Whereas India’s Priya Ghanghas defeated home favorite Scotland’s boxer Niamh Mitchell 4-1.

Semi-finals will be held on 31st July

In boxing, the semi-finals of women’s 60 kg weight category is to be played on July 31. Pakistani boxer Fatima faces Canadian boxer Mary Al Ahmadi in the semi-finals. India’s Priyan Ghanghas will face England’s Lucy Kings.

If they win the semi-finals, India-Pakistan boxers will clash in the final.

If Priya Ghanghas of India and Fatima Zahra of Pakistan won the semi-finals to be held on 31st July, then both these arch-rivals will go to the finals, where the most exciting boxing match till date can be seen between them on 1st August.
