The 9-day Shri Ram Katha started in Tenduva Dham, in which Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai participated. He took blessings from the saints and described Chhattisgarh as a land of faith, service and dedication. Many religious projects were also inaugurated.
The Chief Minister said that during the construction of Lord Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, 11 trucks of rice and a team of doctors were sent from Chhattisgarh. This is a symbol of the deep faith of the people of the state. He said that after waiting for almost 500 years, Lord Shri Ram has been seated in the grand temple, which is a symbol of the cultural unity of the country.
Benefits of Shriramlala Darshan Scheme
He said that thousands of devotees are benefiting by visiting Ayodhya Dham through Shri Ram Lalla Darshan Scheme.
Control on Naxalism and direction of development
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Naxalism has been eliminated from the state to a great extent. Now peace, development and social harmony are being given priority in the state.

He said that “Chhattisgarhia Sable Badiya” is the true identity of the culture and life values of this place.
Presence of saints and dignitaries
Many saints and mahatmas including His Holiness Vasudevanand Saraswati Maharaj, Kinnar Akhara chief Maa Tina were present in the programme. Also, MP Mrs. Kamlesh Jangade, Mahant Shri Ramsundar Das, other public representatives, officials and a large number of devotees participated.
Grand Shri Ram temple being built on Shabari Janmabhoomi
Dr. Ashok Harivansh, head of Raghav Seva Samiti, said that this place is situated in Shivrinarayan, the birthplace of Mata Shabari, where a grand Shri Ram temple is being constructed in ‘Kalinga style’.
Social and religious initiatives
Many initiatives like dispensary, Vedic school, cow temple, Panchmukhi Hanuman temple, Geeta Vatika and Shabri Rasoi are being run in the ashram. Apart from this, special days are also being organized for the marriage of poor girls and disabled people, blood donors, leprosy patients and talented students.
