Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has formed a committee to strengthen digital governance. He directed to take strict action against agencies delaying salaries of contract and outsourcing employees and to digitize the data of all employees.
Hyderabad (Telangana) [भारत]July 8 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday announced the formation of an official committee to strengthen digital governance in the state. He directed the committee to submit its report within 100 days.
The Chief Minister also directed officials to take strict action against agencies that fail to pay salaries to contract and outsourcing employees on time despite release of government funds.
Plan will be made for digital governance
The instructions were issued during a review meeting on issues related to contracting and outsourcing employees. During the meeting, CM Reddy sought information on the implementation of digital governance and directed officials to prepare a plan to implement it and make necessary laws.
He said that the administrative system should move through full-scale digitalization with the aim of providing better public services and ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the beneficiaries directly through digital governance.
The Chief Minister sought details of implementation of digital governance and directed officials to prepare plans and draft necessary legislation for digital governance.

Employees’ data will be digitized
CM Revanth Reddy inquired about digitization of data related to regular government employees as well as contract and outsourcing employees.
Officials were ordered to digitize the entire data and ensure that salaries are paid on the 1st of every month.
The Chief Minister said details of contract and outsourcing employees in all departments, including their salaries and bank account information, should be digitized. (ANI)
