Congress MP Rahul Gandhi raised questions on the National Testing Agency (NTA) by raising the issue of a candidate being allotted an examination center in Abu Dhabi instead of Nagpur. Rahul Gandhi tried to put forward the concerns of lakhs of students and parents by calling this incident an example of irregularities in the examination system. However, in this matter, NTA has issued a detailed clarification claiming that the available technical records present a different picture from Rahul Gandhi’s allegations. The agency says that the change made in the examination center of the candidate concerned was not the result of any technical glitch, but was done by the candidate’s login itself.

What did NTA say?

According to NTA, the investigation found that the option of Abu Dhabi as the examination center was selected only through the registered login of the candidate. The agency said there was no indication of any outside interference or unauthorized access to the records. NTA claims that the exam city was once changed to Abu Dhabi. This option was also previewed twice from the candidate’s login. The same user access pattern was observed throughout the process. No evidence of any kind of hacking or technical tampering was found in the system.
