In the 3-match ODI series against Afghanistan, this player has made a great record with his sharp bowling, which no Indian bowler could do before in his ODI debut series. The unique record of taking the most wickets in a three-match ODI debut series has now been registered in the name of Gurnoor Brar. With this, he has become the first bowler from India who has taken a total of 7 wickets in his 3-match debut ODI series. Before Gurnoor Brar, the joint record of taking most wickets while debuting in a three-match ODI series was held in the names of Yuzvendra Chahal and Prasidh Krishna. Yuzvendra Chahal started his ODI career against Zimbabwe in 2016, taking 6 wickets in 3 matches. At the same time, the famous Krishna took 6 wickets in 3 matches in his debut ODI series against England in the year 2021.
