The unique record of taking the most wickets in a three-match ODI debut series has now been registered in the name of Gurnoor Brar. Before Gurnoor Brar, the joint record of taking most wickets while debuting in a three-match ODI series was held in the names of Yuzvendra Chahal and Prasidh Krishna. Yuzvendra Chahal started his ODI career against Zimbabwe in 2016, taking 6 wickets in 3 matches. At the same time, the famous Krishna took 6 wickets in 3 matches in his debut ODI series against England in the year 2021.

25 year old young bowler Gurnoor Brar is a left arm fast bowler, who plays for Punjab cricket team in the domestic circuit.
