Raja and his wife Farah were murdered with a knife by their neighbor Farzand, Farzand’s cousin and his friend on Monday night in Mohalla Nala (Chakkar Ki Milak) over a dispute over a house worth Rs 40 thousand.
The accused attacked from head to stomach until both of them stopped breathing.
Meanwhile, one and a half year old innocent Abbas fell away from his mother’s lap, two other children present at the spot, five year old Atif and seven year old Afsha, kept screaming. Despite this, the accused did not stop and ran away after committing the crime. The sensational incident has spread sensation in the area.
According to police, Raja had purchased a one-room house from his neighbor Faheem about a year ago. The house was settled for Rs 2 lakh 24 thousand. Out of which Raja had taken possession of the house by paying two lakh rupees. Faheem had not got the house registered.
It is alleged that now Faheem was talking about getting the house registered by taking Rs 40 thousand instead of Rs 24 thousand. There was a dispute between the two parties regarding this. On Sunday evening, there was an argument between the two regarding this amount, which turned into a fight. Raja beat Faheem, causing injury to his hand.
This dispute turned into a bloody conflict the next day. At around 8 pm on Monday night, Faheem’s son Farzand, his nephew and another youth forcibly entered Raja’s house. It is alleged that all three attacked Raja and his wife Farah with sharp knives.
The attackers attacked them several times from head to stomach, leaving both of them seriously injured. The accused continued attacking the couple with knives until their death. During the incident, the screams of the small children of the king present in the house kept echoing. During the attack, the innocent child also got thrown from Farah’s lap and fell on the ground.
By the time the police reached the spot, the couple was dead. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot and other family members closed the doors of their houses. The police broke the doors and searched inside, but did not find the accused.
The deceased Raja’s mother Rani told that her elder son Raja was the support of the family. She lives separately with her younger son Shuaib. On the sensational incident of double murder, DIG Muniraj ji, SSP Satpal Antil along with the force reached the spot and inspected the spot.
In the preliminary investigation, the matter is a mutual dispute over a house, in which financial transactions have emerged as the main reason. The accused involved in the incident have been identified and police teams have been formed to arrest them. Soon all the accused will be arrested.
