A surprising case has come to light from Pilibhit, UP. Here on Tuesday morning inside Pilibhit Medical College and Hospital, a student killed his classmate by stabbing him with a knife. This incident spread sensation in the entire campus. The name of the deceased student is Kashish Patel, who was 22 years old and a first year student of Diploma in CT Scan Technology. After the attack, he was taken to a hospital in Bareilly, but his life could not be saved.

Deadly attack after argument

According to NDTV report, police said that Kashish was working in the CT scan room. Then 24-year-old Sagar Singh, a first year student of X-ray technician course, reached there with a knife. There was a brief conversation between the two, which soon turned into an argument. Police said that after this the accused attacked Kashish with a knife. Kashish tried to run away, but Sagar chased him and attacked him several times. Nidhi Sehgal, a staff nurse, also suffered minor injuries to her hand while trying to stop the attack.

The accused was caught while running away

As soon as the accused tried to escape, the security guards and staff of the hospital caught him. The police later arrested him and registered a case of murder. Kashish was a resident of Bareilly, while accused Sagar is from Kanpur.

Police and college started investigation

Police suspect that the attack could be a case of one-sided love, but investigation is underway to find out the real reason. Officials are also investigating whether this crime was pre-planned. After this incident, high alert has been declared in the medical college. Principal Dr. Sangeeta Aneja said that a committee of three members has been formed to investigate the sequence of the incident, security arrangements and the reasons for the attack.
