Action has been taken against Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation Chairman Saubhagya Singh in the matter of taking out a rally of 200 vehicles. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has issued a show cause notice and canceled his administrative and financial powers with immediate effect.
Bhopal. The troubles of newly appointed Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation, Saubhagya Singh, have increased. The issue of taking out a convoy of hundreds of vehicles while assuming office now seems to be a heavy burden for him. Taking this matter seriously, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has issued a show cause notice to Saubhagya Singh. Also, their administrative and financial powers have been revoked with immediate effect.
Government took cognizance after social media and media reports
In the letter issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, it has been said that through media reports and digital social media platforms, information came to light that while assuming the post of President, a big rally of about 200 vehicles was taken out. The government has considered this against the guidelines of the government.
Government said indiscipline and wastage of resources
The letter said that such vehicle rallies represent unnecessary expenditure of national resources. Also, this conduct is contrary to the simplicity, accountability and collective responsibility that is expected while holding public office. Considering this as serious indiscipline, the Chief Minister’s Office has taken strict action.
Administrative and financial powers abolished with immediate effect
Till the final disposal of the case, all administrative and financial rights of Saubhagya Singh have been revoked. According to the order issued, now they will not be able to enter the office and premises of Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation. Apart from this, they will also not be able to use the vehicles, resources and employees of the corporation.
Saubhagya Singh will stay away from meetings and decision making process
According to the government order, Saubhagya Singh will no longer be able to participate in the meetings of the corporation nor will he be able to preside over any meeting. They will not be allowed to participate in any administrative or financial decisions. Along with this, they will not be able to issue any kind of instructions to the employees.
CM Mohan Yadav said- Discipline and simplicity are top priority
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has clearly said that the state government gives utmost importance to simplicity, accountability and discipline in public life. The government will take any behavior against the dignity of governance seriously and strict action will continue in such cases.
