Salman Khan’s work front
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman has two exciting projects lined up. The actor will next be seen in director Apoorva Lakhia’s Maatrubhumi. It was previously titled Battle of Galwan. The movie was initially based on the Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers. However, media reports suggest that direct references to China and the clash have been removed. This apparently led to the film undergoing reshoots. Co-starring Chitrangada Singh, Maatrubhumi was earlier planned of April 2026 release, but it has now been postponed.

Rajpal Yadav has reportedly joined the film, where he might be seen as Khan’s right hand.
That said, Salman’s last full-fledged theatrical release was Sikandar with Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the movie failed to work at the box office.
