Rishabh Pant will not be seen playing with LSG in IPL 2027. This thing has become clear now. Delhi Capitals have traded him to LSG. In return, Kuldeep Yadav has entered LSG from Delhi Capitals. After this trade deal, Rishabh Pant has suffered a huge loss in IPL salary. His IPL salary has reduced by Rs 12 crore. LSG had bought Rishabh Pant in the IPL 2025 auction by bidding Rs 27 crore. With an amount of Rs 27 crore, Pant became the most expensive player in IPL history. But, after the trade deal between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants, he will get only Rs 15 crores.
Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav traded
The trade of Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav is one of the biggest trades in IPL history. After this trade, Pant has again returned to his old franchise, where he played a total of 111 matches in 9 seasons between 2016 and 2024. Rishabh Pant is still the player who has played the most matches for Delhi Capitals. In these 111 matches, he has also taken command of the Delhi team in 43 matches.
No loss to Kuldeep Yadav from trade deal
Talking about Kuldeep Yadav, after this trade deal, he will get the same salary in Lucknow Super Giants as he was getting in Delhi Capitals. Meaning, Kuldeep has not suffered loss from the trade deal like Pant. LSG will also give Rs 13.5 crore to Kuldeep Yadav.
Kuldeep Yadav was in Delhi Capitals for the last 5 seasons. But in IPL 2027, he will be seen playing in LSG jersey. Kuldeep Yadav played 65 matches for Delhi Capitals in 5 seasons and took 72 wickets.
