Rigged in DSC-2025 recruitment? YSRCP announces statewide movement. Ysrcp Announces State Wide Protest Over Irregularities In Dsc 2025

YSRCP announces statewide agitation alleging rigging in DSC-2025 recruitment. Party leader Perni Nani demanded a CBI probe and resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh. Protests will start in a phased manner from July 31.

Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) [भारत]July 29 (ANI): YSRCP Krishna district president and former minister Perny Venkataramaiah (Nani) has announced a statewide agitation against alleged irregularities in the DSC-2025 recruitment process. He has demanded a CBI investigation in this matter and the resignation of State Education Minister Nara Lokesh. Speaking at the YSRCP central office, he said the party would launch a phased protest programme, starting with the submission of memorandums to district collectors on July 31. This will be followed by constituency-level town hall meetings on August 3 and 4, relay hunger strikes in all assembly constituencies from August 6 to 9 and constituency-level rallies across the state on August 10. He warned that if the government did not respond, the agitation would be intensified.

Serious allegations of rigging in the recruitment process

Nani alleged that the recruitment process was questionable from the very beginning as the DSC convenor appointed during the previous YSRCP government was changed and both question paper preparation and examination management were centralized under SCERT. He said confidential work including question paper uploading and digitization was entrusted to outsourcing employees, one of whom later emerged as the district topper. However, her appointment was later canceled and a revised merit list was released.

He raised questions as to why the merit list was never displayed in the Collectorate, why the top ranked candidate disappeared from the list and why the government was avoiding these questions. He further alleged that the government has not issued a new G.O. (G.Os.), exempted candidates from TET and DSC qualification and later reversed those rules after completion of appointments.

Questions raised on sports quota appointments

Questioning the quality of recruitment, he asked how candidates appointed under the sports quota could teach core subjects like mathematics and science. He also mentioned appointments related to sports associations headed by TDP leaders and relatives of Minister Lokesh.

Demand for CBI investigation and minister’s resignation

Perni Nani reiterated that only a CBI investigation can reveal the truth behind the DSC recruitment process. They demanded immediate resignation of Nara Lokesh, release of pending fee reimbursement dues, implementation of promised monthly unemployment allowance and justice for every DSC candidate. (ANI)
