Realme 16T 5G India Launch: What to Expect

The Realme 16T 5G launch date in India is set for May 22 at 12 pm (IST). The Realme 16T 5G will go on sale via Flipkart, the official Realme India website, and offline mainline retail partners.

Realme will share the full hardware specification sheet and Indian pricing during the announcement, but here’s what we know so far. We expect, the Realme 16T price in India to start from under Rs 27,000 without offers.

Realme 16T Specifications: What to Expect

The Realme 16T is touted to feature a massive 8,000mAh silicon carbon battery. Realme pairs the battery with 45W fast charging support. The phone also introduces the brand’s “7-Year Battery Health” system for this segment, which applies software algorithms to slow long-term capacity loss.

The brand claims the phone can handle up to 11 hours of continuous Battlegrounds Mobile India sessions at 60 FPS. Realme says this focus on stable performance works alongside the large battery to reduce charging breaks. Despite the big battery, the Realme 16T 5G keeps a relatively slim profile at 8.88mm and uses a flat 6.8-inch display.

The frame has a metallic finish, while the camera module is made from aluminium alloy. The rear panel uses a “Gleaming Wings” gradient treatment with layered coloured particles in silver, green, and glitter tones. The Realme 16T 5G will ship in three colour variants named Aurora Green, Starlight Red, and Starlight Black.

The Realme 16T 5G includes All-Scenario Bypass Charging, Advanced Temperature Protection, and Overcharge Protection. These systems are intended to keep temperatures under control, protect the battery during long gaming or streaming sessions, and help maintain stable charging behaviour when plugged in for extended periods.
