Ayodhya Ram Mandir Donation Scam: There is an uproar across the country regarding theft of donations to the Ram temple in Ayodhya. There is anger among crores of devotees towards these accused. Not only this, now even his family members have left him.
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh): The investigation into the alleged misappropriation of Ram temple donations intensified on Sunday, when a police team reached the house of one of the accused, Avinash Shukla, in Ayodhya. Circle Officer (CO) Ashutosh Kumar’s team, who is leading the investigation, interrogated Shukla at his house and collected evidence. Later the senior police officer was seen leaving the place.
Family will not support in misappropriation of temple money
Speaking to the media on this matter, Abhishek Shukla, brother of the accused, said that the family will not support anyone involved in misappropriation of temple funds. Abhishek said, “Investigation is going on. If he has committed any crime, he will go to jail. Whoever it is, whoever has committed the crime will be punished. We cannot stand with those involved in this case.”
Champat Rai has resigned
On Friday, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust general secretary Champat Rai and member trustee Anil Mishra had resigned, taking moral responsibility for the alleged scam. All this is after an FIR was registered regarding alleged embezzlement of donations received in Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Who are those 8 people who stole donations from the temple?
This case has been registered on the instructions of Uttar Pradesh government. The people named in the FIR are: Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, Avinash Shukla, Tinku Yadav, Manish Yadav and others. This action has been taken after the allegations of former SP MLA from Ayodhya Pawan Pandey, in which he had claimed that Rs 7 crore to Rs 7.5 crore had been embezzled from the donations for Ram Temple.
