Recently, in a Bharatiya Janata Party rally, a BJP supporter sang a song in Bengali, the lyrics of which are a sarcasm on Sayoni Ghosh’s song. The translation of this song by a BJP supporter is, “Ram is in my heart, Krishna is in my eyes…”
A video related to this is going viral on social media platform X, in which BJP leaders are encouraging people by singing this song. This was first shared by Bengal’s well-known activist Sunanda Acharya, who has been a vocal supporter of BJP and is seen targeting TMC on social media every day. The viral video is reportedly of a BJP rally, where posters of West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari are also seen. People are commenting below the video and writing that Ram Rajya has now arrived in Bengal.

It is noteworthy that BJP had got a bumper victory in the recent elections held in West Bengal. BJP won a landslide victory by winning 207 seats in the elections held on 293 seats and snatched power from Mamata Banerjee. Earlier, during the election campaign, Mamata Banerjee’s party MP Sayoni Ghosh had been the main face of TMC. During the election campaign, a song by Sayoni Ghosh went viral. Its lyrics were something like this, “Kaaba in the heart and Medina in the eyes.” There was a lot of controversy regarding the lyrics of this song. TMC was also accused of appeasement politics.
