He said that by surrendering in the court, Rajpal Yadav has shown that he wants to fulfill his promise. Out of Rs 5 crore invested in the film, more than Rs 3 crore has been paid so far and the remaining amount is also ready to be paid.
Court’s rebuke: You were given many chances
The court strongly reprimanded Rajpal Yadav and said that this debate is beyond comprehension. You had earlier filed a petition saying that you would return the money, but did not pay for many years. You had to surrender in jail because of not following the previous order. The court also said that you were given 25 to 30 chances. Now why do you want to reopen the case? You have to explain why there was such a delay in giving the money. The court said that there may be individual sympathy, but the law follows its own rules. If you are ready to deposit the full amount, the hearing will be continued further.
Bail sought citing marriage in the family
Rajpal Yadav’s lawyer said that the actor is ready to deposit the outstanding amount in the court. However, since there is a marriage in the family, he has sought bail.
