The death of Ketan Agarwal, who died after falling from Lohgarh Fort in Pune, was not an accident but murder. The police has revealed this. Ketan’s fiancee Siya Goyal and her lover Chetan Choudhary together pushed him into the valley. Both of them tried their best to make it look like an accident.
Pune: The case of death of a young man after falling into the valley at the famous Lohgarh Fort of Maharashtra has now turned out to be a case of premeditated murder. The police have made a shocking revelation in this case. The deceased, 25-year-old Ketan Vishal Aggarwal, was murdered by none other than his 20-year-old fiancee Siya Goyal and her 22-year-old lover Chetan Chaudhary. The police have arrested both of them. Investigation has revealed that both of them together had pushed Ketan into the valley.
This incident took place on June 19, when Ketan fell into a 350 feet deep valley of the fort. Ketan and Siya were going to get married next month. Before the wedding, Ketan, Sia and some friends went to the fort to celebrate Sia’s birthday. But actually Siya was not happy with this marriage, because the family members had decided on this relationship. Siya was considering Ketan as an obstacle in the path of her love. Therefore, she along with her lover Chetan made a plan to remove Ketan from the way. The plan of both was to show Ketan’s death as an accident.
The first assassination attempt was unsuccessful
The thought of killing Ketan came to Sia’s mind on May 31, when she had gone with Ketan for trekking at Lohgarh Fort. After this, on June 14, she again took Ketan to the fort. There her plan was to scare Ketan by saying ‘snake has come’ and push him into the valley. But his attempt failed and Ketan did not even have any doubt.
After this, Sia planned another trekking on June 19 on the pretext of celebrating her birthday. Under this plan, she secretly called her lover Chetan Chaudhary to the fort. Then when Ketan’s attention was elsewhere, both of them together pushed him down from the fort into the moat and murdered him.
Passport was torn to cancel Bali trip
Ketan’s family members told that before marriage, both of them had planned to go to Bali. All the preparations for the trip were done, but on the way Sia convinced Ketan that she had lost her passport. Because of this the trip to Bali had to be cancelled. But police investigation revealed that Sia herself had torn her passport and thrown it away in the bathroom of a hotel.
After this, Ketan had prepared to celebrate Sia’s birthday by booking more than 40 rooms in a luxury resort in Mahabaleshwar. Meanwhile, Sia insisted on going to Lohgarh for the pre-wedding photoshoot. This brutal murder took place when preparations for their royal wedding were going on in a palace in Jaipur.
Secret revealed through digital evidence
Initially the police also believed that while getting photographs taken on the side of the fort, Ketan’s foot slipped and he fell. But contradictions in Sia’s statements during interrogation deepened the police’s suspicion. After this, when the police examined Sia’s mobile phone records, social media accounts and other technical evidence, the entire story of this murder came to light. Police are investigating further in this matter.
