How to prepare soil?

Make a hole in the bottom of the container you are using. For this, you can take soil (pH 6.5-6.8) from a nursery or you can get the pH of the soil you have checked. Apart from this, to prepare soil at home, you should take 50 percent ordinary garden soil. Mix 30 percent old cow dung manure in it and add 20 percent coco peat or vermiculite.
What is better to plant, plant or seed?
You can plant this asparagus fern or foxtail fern directly in the prepared soil from the nursery or its seeds can also be sown, but it is better to plant it. Actually, it takes time for the plant to emerge from the seed and extra care is also required for germination, hence planting the plant directly is a better option. The best thing is that you can take out the plant, divide its root bundle into 2 to 3 parts and plant it in new soil. Spring season is the best for this, because it grows well till summer.
