Oil companies have given a big inflation shock to the general public by increasing the prices of petrol and diesel once again within just 5 days. The prices of petrol and diesel have been increased by 90 paise per liter, whereas earlier on May 15 also the prices were increased by Rs 3 each per liter. After the new prices, petrol in Delhi has reached Rs 97.77 and diesel Rs 91.58 per liter, while in Mumbai petrol is being sold at Rs 107.59 and diesel Rs 94.08 per liter. The continuously increasing fuel prices are going to have a direct impact on the pockets of the general public, transportation expenses and daily needs.
