When is Param Ekadashi 2026?
According to Drik Panchang, the Ekadashi tithi of Krishna Paksha of Adhik month will start on June 11, 2026 at 12:57 am and will end at 10:36 pm on the same day. Since in Sanatan Dharma, fasts and festivals are celebrated on the basis of Udaya Tithi, hence in the year 2026 Param Ekadashi The fast will be observed on Thursday, June 11.

This time is considered best for bathing, meditation, chanting mantras and taking resolution of fasting. There is a religious belief that chanting and penance done in Brahma Muhurta gives many times more results.

Abhijeet Muhurta is considered the most auspicious time of the day. During this period, worshiping Lord Vishnu, chanting mantras and reciting Vishnu Sahasranama is considered especially fruitful.

Necessary materials for Param Ekadashi puja
For the worship of Param Ekadashi, the idol or photo of Lord Vishnu, yellow clothes, Tulsi group, yellow flowers, sandalwood, Akshat (rice), incense lamp, Panchamrit, seasonal fruits, coconut, panchmeva, Ganga water, ghee lamp, puja plate and the book of Vishnu Sahasranama or Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta should be kept ready. It is believed that by worshiping with these materials with devotion, Lord Vishnu is pleased and one gets the full results of the fast.
How to worship Param Ekadashi at home?
On the day of Param Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning and take bath and wear clean yellow or light colored clothes. After this, purify the place of worship with Ganga water and install the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu. First of all, take a pledge to fast and while meditating on Lord Vishnu, offer water to him. After this offer sandalwood, Akshat, yellow flowers and Tulsi leaves. Keep in mind that worship of Lord Vishnu is considered incomplete without Tulsi.
After this, light incense sticks and chant Vishnu mantras. If devotees wish, they can also chant Vishnu Sahasranama, Srimad Bhagvad Geeta or Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya Mantra. At the end of the puja, offer fruits and Panchamrit to God and then perform Aarti. In the evening, remember Lord Vishnu by lighting a lamp again and chanting bhajans and kirtans. Next day, break the fast by worshiping on Dwadashi Tithi.
