Vadodara (Gujarat): A tragic road accident took place on Gujarat’s Vadodara-Halol road in the early hours of Wednesday. A bus carrying 45 passengers collided with a truck near Kotambi village. According to local officials, at least five people died on the spot in this accident.

Vadodara echoed with screams early in the morning!
Kotambi village sarpanch Arvind Solanki told news agency ANI, “There was an accident involving a bus and a truck early this morning. There were 45 people in the bus, but five people died on the spot. NDRF and police teams came here. There were about ten ambulances too… Such accidents happen a lot, but this was a very serious accident.”
NDRF team arrived to save lives
- The Sarpanch said that as soon as information about the incident was received, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and police teams immediately reached the spot and started the rescue operation. About ten ambulances were deployed to send the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.
- At present, more information about the identity of the dead and the condition of the injured is awaited. Police are investigating to find out the cause of the accident.
