The next four days may be heavy for many states of North and East India. Plains and North India: Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Western and Eastern Uttar Pradesh

Eastern and Central India: Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal
North-East India: Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura

The situation in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand already remains challenging. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for six districts of Himachal Pradesh. There has also been a warning of very heavy rain in Uttarakhand.
