In the video, she ‘rents a boyfriend’ from a website and spends the whole day with him in the mall. A user named Isha Bhalla shared her experience on Instagram. They KopartnerHired a partner from a platform named .in, which provides services like support and companionship. Although there is no mention of ‘boyfriend rental’ directly on the website, the woman named it as such.
Bhalla told about this service in the video. He said that a profile has to be created on this website. This platform provides services like elder care, companionship, partying, watching movies, shopping assistance, medical support, domestic help and travel partner. The prices of these services vary. However, the starting price of some services ranges between ₹1,000 to ₹1,500.
After filling all the details, Bhalla booked a companion online. She met him at a pre-arranged place and then both of them went to the mall. She claimed that the boy helped her with shopping, carried her bags at the mall and listened to her conversations. Isha said that when she was sad about her ex-boyfriend, the boy also tried to handle her. She joked, “He told jokes to cheer me up. He had very bad taste in shopping, but I still let him help me.”
