Facelifted Glanza gets a new 1.2-litre Z12E engine, AMT with CNG, revised styling and a new V(O) grade with Level 2 ADAS
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched 2026 Glanza in India, with prices starting at Rs 6.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The hatchback receives changes across its powertrain, design and equipment list, including a new three-cylinder engine, CNG AMT option, ventilated front seats and Level 2 ADAS. The lineup comprises five grades — E, S, G, V and V(O). The booking amount is Rs 11,000, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the first week of November 2026.
New Toyota Glanza Prices
New Glanza petrol manual prices start at Rs 6.99 lakh for E, followed by S at Rs 7.71 lakh, G at Rs 8.73 lakh, V at Rs 9.99 lakh and V(O) at Rs 10.49 lakh. Petrol AMT is available from S onwards, priced at Rs 8.31 lakh for S, Rs 9.33 lakh for G, Rs 10.59 lakh for V and Rs 10.98 lakh for V(O).
CNG is offered exclusively in S and G grades, with both manual and AMT options. S CNG manual costs Rs 8.76 lakh, while G CNG manual is priced at Rs 9.68 lakh. Their AMT counterparts cost Rs 9.31 lakh and Rs 10.23 lakh, respectively — a premium of Rs 55,000 over the corresponding CNG manual.
New Z12E Engine, CNG AMT Added
Powering new Glanza is a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine producing 61 kW, approximately 83 PS, and 112.4 Nm. In CNG mode, output stands at 51.3 kW, approximately 69.7 PS, and 101.8 Nm. Toyota claims petrol mileage of 23.80 km/l with the manual transmission and 24.77 km/l with AMT.
A significant addition is AMT availability with CNG variants, giving buyers an automatic option alongside the alternative-fuel powertrain. Toyota markets its AMT as Intelligent Gear Shift. Auto start-stop is also highlighted in the launch presentation.
Revised Design, Two New Colours
Updated Glanza gets a redesigned front bumper and grille, inspired by Toyota’s global front-face styling. A wide chrome strip connects the headlamps, while the large lower grille features a honeycomb pattern and a prominent silver-finished surround. New side skirts complete the exterior changes.
Other highlights include LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, automatic headlamps with welcome-home lighting, LED rear combination lamps and chrome door handles. Seven colours are offered — Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, Insta Blue, Sportin Red, Bluish Black and Digital Teal Green. The latter two are new additions.
Ventilated Seats, Clarion Audio
Inside, Glanza gains ventilated front seats and wireless smartphone charging with cooling. A 9-inch Smart Playcast Pro infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a Clarion sound system.
The equipment list also includes a head-up display, 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, USB Type-C ports and a 60:40 split rear seat. A leather-wrapped steering wheel offers tilt and telescopic adjustment, while keyless entry and push-button start are also available.
Toyota i-Connect provides remote lock and unlock functions, vehicle-health information, safety alerts, geofencing and service-related information. Smartwatch integration and voice-assistant compatibility further expand its connected features.
Level 2 ADAS On V(O)
The new V(O) grade introduces Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, autonomous emergency braking and high beam assist.
The broader safety package includes six airbags, vehicle stability control, hill hold control, ABS with EBD, emergency stop signal and tyre pressure monitoring. ISOFIX child-seat anchorages and rear parking sensors are also listed, with equipment availability depending on the variant.
Toyota offers a standard warranty of three years or 1 lakh km, extendable to five years or 2.20 lakh km. Ownership support includes 24×7 roadside assistance and 60-minute Express Maintenance.
