This is believed to be the largest carbon reduction ever recorded in a single financial year in the state’s history. The main reason behind this achievement was the rapid expansion of solar energy, wind energy and other renewable energy sources. Increasing clean energy production reduced dependence on traditional fuels and gave new strength to environmental protection.
