State level milk producers and cattle rearers conference will be organized in Gwalior on 4th May. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will inaugurate it and distribute certificates to the beneficiaries. More than 20 thousand cattle rearers will participate in the program.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the State Level Milk Producers and Animal Husbandry Conference organized in Gwalior on Monday, May 4. This program will be organized at the Fair Ground, Gwalior, in which Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairying (Independent Charge) Lakhan Patel will also be present. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will distribute acceptance certificates to the beneficiaries benefited under departmental schemes.
Efforts towards making Madhya Pradesh ‘Milk Capital’
Madhya Pradesh government is continuously taking new steps to promote milk production and develop the state as “Milk Capital”. Various schemes and innovations are being implemented to make cattle farmers and milk producers economically stronger. The year 2026 is being celebrated as “Farmers Welfare Year”, under which special priority is being given to programs related to agriculture and animal husbandry.
Participation of more than 20 thousand cattle farmers
About 20 thousand cattle rearers, milk producers, beneficiaries, representatives of cooperative institutions and cattle rearers doing excellent work from different districts of the state will participate in this conference. The main objective of the program is to increase milk production, encourage improved animal husbandry and increase the income of animal farmers through cooperatives.
Maitri workers and cattle herders will share experiences
During the conference, Maitri workers, successful cattle rearers, sarpanches of Kshirdhara villages and members of cooperative milk societies will share their experiences. This will inspire other cattle farmers and they will get information about new techniques and better management.
Government schemes and technology will be seen in the exhibition
Exhibitions will also be organized at the venue by animal husbandry and dairy departments and other related departments. In this, information about modern technologies, schemes and innovations related to milk production will be given, from which the cattle farmers can directly benefit.
