Bhopal: There was a sensation when the dead body of a loving couple was found inside their car in Ashok Nagar, Madhya Pradesh. On Thursday morning, people found the bodies of 26-year-old Hrithik Soni and 24-year-old Muskaan in a car. Both were residents of Ashok Nagar. Police are now investigating whether this is a case of murder or suicide.
According to the information, Hrithik Soni’s body was on the driver’s seat and he was shot in the head. Burn marks were also found on the boy’s face. At the same time, on the adjacent seat was Muskaan’s dead body, whose throat was slit. Police also found a pistol and a blood stained ax from the car. Three mobile phones were also found lying abandoned at a distance of about 50 meters from the car.
Earlier, on Wednesday evening, Muskaan’s family members had lodged a missing complaint. He had told that Muskaan had left home for the gym, but did not return. While the police was searching for him, his body was found in the car with Hrithik on Thursday.
Police said that Hrithik and Muskaan earlier worked together in a private company in Indore. Hrithik’s family members told that he works in Indore and had come home only 15 days ago. The boy’s family has demanded an in-depth investigation into the matter.
Police and forensic team reached the spot and collected evidence. Both the bodies have been sent to the hospital for postmortem. Police say that the real cause of death will be clear only after the postmortem report comes.
