In the guest scholars conference in Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav assured every possible cooperation in the interest of the guest scholars and told the priorities of the government on education reforms.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while addressing the guest scholars in the state level guest scholars conference held on July 10 at Ravindra Bhawan in the capital Bhopal, said that his government is working with full commitment to protect the welfare and interests of the guest scholars. He said that if the guest scholar committee wants to implement the better system of any other state in Madhya Pradesh, then it should prepare a detailed proposal and place it before the government. The government will stand with them in every positive initiative.
The Chief Minister said that a committee has been formed under the banner of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh. Now the era of postponing or complicating work is over. He said that to move the country and the state forward, there is a need to take decisions and implement them rapidly. There will be a relationship of trust between the government and the guest scholars and whatever is possible will be done in their interest.

Referring to Indian culture and Guru-disciple tradition, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the whole world recognizes India because of the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. Narrating the incident from the life of Lord Shri Ram, he said that when Guru Vishwamitra requested King Dasharatha to take Ram and Lakshman with him, his aim was not only to destroy the demons but also to create the future.
He said that Guru Vishwamitra had full faith in the abilities of his disciples. This confidence gave direction to Lord Shri Ram to become a great warrior and ideal ruler. This example shows that a teacher not only imparts education but also prepares the future.

The Chief Minister said that Guru Vashishtha and Vishwamitra played an important role in the life of Lord Shri Ram. There he studied 64 arts and 14 sciences and presented such an example of friendship with Sudama, which even today gives the message of equality and simplicity to the society. He said that the confidence of every teacher inspires the students to move forward and this is the strongest foundation for building the future.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that guest scholars are not just employees to fill vacant posts, but they are priests of the temple of education. Their efforts will strengthen the future of the coming generation. He said that the state government is continuously strengthening higher education and technical education. The first PM Excellence College in the country was started in Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, it has also been decided to establish new universities.
The Chief Minister said that today the dropout in schools in the state has reached almost zero. The new education system is being built based on innovation, sensitivity and moral values. He said that India is the youngest country in the world and Madhya Pradesh is among the youngest states in terms of population. In such a situation, the responsibility of teachers and guest scholars increases more than ever.
Atithi Vidwan Latest Update: Government gave many new facilities to guest scholars
The Chief Minister said that the government has taken many important decisions in the interest of guest scholars. Now they are getting the facility of 13 casual leaves and 3 optional leaves. Maternity leave has also been given to female guest scholars. Apart from this, the facility of transfer to a nearby place has been provided once in a year. In the Assistant Professor Recruitment of Public Service Commission, 25 percent posts have been reserved for guest scholars and age relaxation of up to 10 years has also been given. He informed that 117 guest scholars have been appointed in the year 2022 and 48 guest scholars in the year 2024.

The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously giving impetus to development works and public services. The process of pending promotions in the state is being completed rapidly and new lists are being released every day. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state is moving in a new direction of development. The Chief Minister said that after achieving great success against Naxalism, the government will now launch a comprehensive campaign against drugs. Under the leadership of the Union Home Minister, a target has been set to make the state drug free by the year 2029.
Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar: Information about welfare decisions for guest scholars
Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that the state government has implemented the system of casual and voluntary leave for guest scholars. Female guest scholars are also being given the benefit of maternity leave. He informed that 25 percent reservation has been given to guest scholars in the Assistant Professor recruitment examination of the Public Service Commission. Apart from this, arrangement for re-work has also been ensured by giving two opportunities every month in case of change of place once in a year and fall-out.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the government has taken five important decisions in the interest of guest scholars. Apart from this, a high level committee has been formed to study the systems of higher education and technical education and give suggestions. Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh General Secretary Kuldeep Singh Gurjar also said that the state government has taken several important steps to strengthen the social and economic security of the guest scholars.
