Actress Mouni Roy shared a glimpse of what she called her “Cannes & Chaos” moments days after announcing her separation from husband Suraj Nambiar.
Mouni posted a series of pictures on Instagram from the balcony of her room in the French Riviera. She was seen dressed in a monochrome outfit paired with knee-length boots and a trench coat.
She captioned the post: “Cannes & Chaos! Bonjour x.”
This is not Mouni’s first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress made her debut at the French Riviera event in 2023.
Mouni and businessman Suraj Nambiar recently confirmed their separation through a joint statement shared on their respective Instagram accounts on May 14.
The statement read: “We note with dismay the unnecessary and intrusive attention into our personal lives by certain quarters of the media. We want to state that we have decided to part ways and are taking the necessary time to address matters privately and amicably.”
“Attempts have been made to sensationalize our private lives by circulation of fictitious narratives and blatant falsehoods, which do not reflect the reality of our relationship,” the statement added.
The couple further said: “After thoughtful reflection on evolving personal priorities, we have mutually chosen to move forward on separate paths with respect and understanding. At this point, we are focused on navigating this phase thoughtfully and privately.”
“We will endeavor to cherish our friendship in times to come. We sincerely appreciate your understanding, respect for our privacy, and the continued support extended to us during this time.”
