It is noteworthy that Bengaluru-based space startup GalaxyEye successfully launched the world’s first Optosar satellite named ‘Mission Drishti’ on Sunday, May 3, 2026. This 190 kg satellite is the largest satellite built by a private company in India. It was launched from California via SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket.
