In Delhi’s Model Town, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta planted saplings under the 70 lakh tree plantation campaign. 1,100 saplings were planted and an appeal was made to join the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign.

Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta took another important step towards increasing the green area in the capital and making environmental protection a mass movement. Under the 70 lakh tree plantation campaign organized in the Model Town assembly constituency, the Chief Minister gave new impetus to the campaign by planting trees. A total of 1,100 saplings were planted during this program.

While planting saplings with the local citizens present in the program, the Chief Minister gave the message of environmental protection and appealed to all the people to make this campaign successful through public participation.

1,100 saplings planted in Model Town, special emphasis on environmental protection

During this special program organized in Model Town assembly constituency, 1,100 saplings of different species were planted. The initiative aims to increase green cover in the capital, create a cleaner environment and ensure a better environment for future generations. Chief Minister’s appeal to join ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign

On this occasion, the Chief Minister appealed to all the people of Delhi to participate enthusiastically in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. He said that every person should plant at least one sapling in honor of his mother and also take regular care of it, so that the sapling can become a strong tree. He said that plantation will be meaningful only when the protection of the planted plants is also done with full responsibility.

Appreciation of participation of local citizens, RWAs, youth and Matrishakti

During the program, the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to everyone for the active participation of local citizens, Resident Welfare Association (RWA), youth, Matrashakti and public representatives. He said that the success of campaigns like environmental protection is possible only with public participation and the cooperation of the people of Delhi is very important in this direction.

Model Town MLA Ashok Goyal along with a large number of local citizens, social workers, volunteers and other public representatives were present in this tree plantation programme. Everyone together planted saplings and took a pledge to protect the environment.
