Mamitha Baiju has been working in the films since 2016 as a child artiste, but it was the 2024 Malayalam blockbuster that turned out to be her big breakthrough.
Post Premalu, Mamitha entered the big league as she starred in Pradeep Ranganathan’s which made over Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office.
And this year, the actress went on an insane run starring in three major movies in just a month and each of them made over Rs 200 crore at the worldwide box office.

Mamitha Baiju’s 3 Films Gross Over Rs 800 Crore in One Month
Mamitha Baiju started the year with Dhanush starrer Tamil film Kara which failed at the box office earning only Rs 50 crore on a reported Rs 100 crore budget.
However, post that, the young actress has been on an insane run at the box office.
On July 23, 2026, she starred alongside Vijay in his final film which made Rs 324.38 crore at the worldwide box office.
Three weeks later, on August 14, 2026, she featured alongside Suriya in Tamil film which turned out to be a huge success earning over Rs 201.48 crore and still running in theatres.

And finally, a week after that on August 21, 2026, she returned to Malayalam cinema with Nivin Pauly starrer which has become a box office blockbuster earning Rs 231.25 crore in 14 days.
And is now on its way to becoming at least the third biggest grosser of all time in history of Malayalam cinema beating the likes of Thudarum, Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros, Drishyam 3 and Manjummel Boys.
How it performs in its third weekend will decide if it has enough gas left in the tank to hit Rs 300 crore box office and take down Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra to become the top Malayalam grosser of all time.

Overall, Mamitha Baiju has had an insane run at the box office with three mega hits earning over Rs 200 crore each and around Rs 800 crore combined in less than a month.
