Allari Naresh was once known in Tollywood primarily as a hero who was limited to comedy films. However, over the years, he has tried to impress audiences by exploring different genres. While some of those films delivered good results, others ended up disappointing viewers. Now, Allari Naresh has once again come before the audience with the fantasy comedy Rambha.. Urvashi.. Menaka. Directed by Chandra Mohan, the film features Surabhi as the female lead opposite Allari Naresh. Raashi Singh, Vishnu Priya, and Prisha Singh play the title roles. Coming to the story, Allari Naresh dreams of becoming a hero, a dream his father was unable to fulfill, and has been trying to achieve it since childhood. Instead of working hard for it, he strongly believes that Rambha, Urvashi, and Menaka will appear before him if he can crack the puzzle in a magical book kept in his house. As part of this belief, he regularly performs poojas at home in front of their idols.
No matter how many times he tries, the experiment with the magical book never works. Since the hero does not do any work, he ends up accumulating debts throughout the village. Meanwhile, Surabhi’s father sets a condition that he will agree to their marriage only if the hero clears all the debts in the village. Finally, the hero’s poojas bear fruit, and Rambha, Urvashi, and Menaka appear before him. Whether this finally puts an end to the hero’s troubles and helps his love story succeed or not forms the rest of the story. Looking at the title Rambha.. Urvashi.. Menaka, most audiences would expect the movie to be a fun-filled entertainer. However, the film moves very sluggishly from beginning to end, without much energy or excitement. The primary reason for this is the weak writing.
The entire movie follows an old-fashioned formula. Audiences have already seen this kind of story several times in the past. The slow narration is another major weakness of the film. Here and there, some of Senior Naresh’s dialogues and actions manage to generate a few laughs. However, Raashi Singh, Vishnu Priya Bhimineni, and Prisha Singh, who appear as Rambha, Urvashi, and Menaka respectively, have been presented glamorously without any vulgarity. Vennela Kishore, Srinivasa Reddy, and Tarak Ponnappa play other key roles in the film. Overall, Rambha.. Urvashi.. Menaka fails to impress the audience.
