After the complaint of the villagers, the police called both of them to the police station and interrogated them, where both of them said that they were living together of their own free will.

According to the information, 36-year-old Bindu Devi alias Seema Parveen, a resident of Purnia, started talking to 19-year-old Mahavir Thakur, a resident of Khadui Bariyarpur, about two years ago through a missed call.
In the beginning there was normal conversation between the two. Gradually the conversation became regular and the closeness between the two started increasing. Due to constant contact on mobile, a love affair developed between the two. Without the knowledge of their family, both of them decided to live together. It is said that later both of them left their respective homes and reached Kolkata.
Temple wedding in Kolkata
It is being told that after reaching Kolkata, both of them got married in a temple. After marriage, both of them also released a video, in which they talked about their relationship and their desire to live together.
According to the villagers, after the video surfaced, the discussion about the matter spread in the entire area. After this various types of discussions started in the village. Some people also informed the police about the matter. However, the documents and other claims related to the marriage could not be independently verified.
The woman had a love affair earlier in her life.
According to local people, the name of Bindu Devi alias Seema Parveen has already been in discussion regarding love affair. It is said that about ten years ago, she had a love affair with Manan Alam, a resident of Purnia. Later both of them got married. The woman also has five children from this marriage.
According to reports, after marriage with Mahavir Thakur, the woman has expressed her desire to convert to Hinduism again and live life with her new husband. However, the claims related to religious conversion and marriage could not be independently verified. No official information has been given by the administration in this regard.

Mahavir Thakur told that the conversation between the two started after the missed call. Gradually both of them started liking each other and their relationship turned into love. She said that after a long conversation, both of them decided to live together. After this he went to Kolkata and got married.
Mahavir says that he has nothing to do with Bindu’s past. He just wants both of them to live together and live their lives happily. He said that he had married of his own free will and wanted to live with his wife in future also.
Woman accused husband of harassment
Bindu Devi alias Seema Parveen told that her married life was not happy. She alleged that she had to face harassment while living with her earlier husband.
The woman says that during this time she met Mahavir Thakur. As the conversation progressed, a love affair developed between the two. Later he decided to spend his life with Mahavir. She told that she had married Mahavir of her own free will and now wanted to live with him.
Ex-husband said- no relation now
Here, the woman’s ex-husband Manan Alam told on phone that now he has nothing to do with his wife. He said that all his five children are with him and he is taking care of them. Manan Alam clarified that he no longer wants to keep Seema with him and is focusing on raising his children.
Police released after questioning
Khaira police station incharge Mintu Kumar Singh said that after receiving the complaint from the villagers, both of them were called to the police station and interrogated. During investigation both were found to be adults. Both of them told the police that they were living together of their own free will and there was no pressure of any kind. After this, necessary inquiries were completed and they were sent back.
Police say that at present no complaint has been lodged by any party. Therefore no legal action has been taken.
