Siya Goyal News: In the famous Ketan Aggarwal murder case, the police has got the most important evidence from Siya Goyal’s house. After this, the police took Siya to the ground where the murder was rehearsed.
Pune (Maharashtra): In the Ketan Aggarwal murder case, Pune Rural Police took accused Siya Goyal to an open ground in Lallanagar area of Pune city on Thursday morning. It is alleged that on this very ground, Sia and the other accused Chetan Chaudhary had rehearsed the entire planning to push Ketan from Lohagarh Fort.

Apart from this, the police have also recovered from Siya Goyal’s house the clothes which she was wearing on the day of the incident. Meanwhile, accused Siya Goyal’s father Praveen Goyal told that when the police came to his house today, they did not ask him anything. He said that the policemen stayed at the house for about 30-45 minutes.
He said, “The police came to the house today, but I did not meet anyone. They did their job and were here for about 30-45 minutes. The doctor has advised me to take rest. I am not well. I do not want to talk about the matter. I do not have the courage. The police did not ask me anything.”
Crime scene in Ketan Aggarwal murder case
Earlier on Wednesday, Pune Police had taken accused Chetan Chaudhary to Lohagarh Fort near Pune to reconstruct the crime scene in the Ketan Agarwal murder case. There, an attempt was made to find out how the incident might have happened by using a dummy equal to the weight of the victim.
Made a dummy of Ketan’s weight
After crime scene reconstruction, Pune Rural’s Additional SP Shubham Kumar said that the dummy was designed according to the weight of the deceased. He said, “We took Chetan Chaudhary for scene reconstruction, and he told us the sequence of events of that day. The investigation is underway. The dummy was made according to Ketan’s weight.”
Ketan murdered after engagement
Crime scene reconstruction had already been completed for the second accused, Sia Goyal. Ketan Agarwal had died after falling from the Lohagarh Fort near Pune on June 18, following which a case was registered. Lonavala Rural Police suspect that the main accused Siya Goyal, who was engaged to Ketan, did not want to get married at this stage of her life. It is alleged that there was family pressure on her for marriage.
Sia-Chetan on police remand till July 3
Following the incident, the Maharashtra government has approved the setting up of a fast-track court for the case and appointed senior lawyer and Rajya Sabha MP Ujjwal Nikam as Special Public Prosecutor. At present, accused Siya Goyal and his friend Chetan Chaudhary were arrested on June 23 and are in police custody till July 3 while the investigation is ongoing.
