Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: In the Ketan Agarwal murder case of Pune, the police is now investigating the red electric car in which Ketan had last traveled with his fiancee.
Pune (Maharashtra): Pune Police, which is investigating the Ketan Aggarwal murder case, is now investigating the red electric car which Ketan had used to go to Lohgarh Fort on the day of his death. Police are considering this car as an important clue in the case. A video of Ketan Aggarwal’s electric car also surfaced on social media. In this video, Ketan is seen in a car with his fiancee Sia Goyal and the sunroof of the car is open. This video was made by Ketan Aggarwal himself during a long drive after purchasing the car. On June 18, Ketan Aggarwal had gone to Lohgarh Fort in the same car with his fiancee Siya Goyal.
- This case is being investigated as a murder. Ketan Aggarwal’s fiancee Siya Goyal and her friend Chetan Chaudhary have been arrested and are in police custody, currently the investigation is going on.
Government’s big decision on the appeal of Ketan’s father
- On Friday, after the tragic murder of Ketan Aggarwal, the Maharashtra government took a big decision. The government has approved the creation of a fast-track court to hear this case. Also, senior advocate and Rajya Sabha MP Ujjwal Nikam has been appointed Special Public Prosecutor in this case.
- The decision was taken after the victim’s father met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Pune and pleaded for speedy justice in the case. The Chief Minister assured the family that strict action would be taken against the accused and the case would be fast-tracked.
- During the meeting, the victim’s father Vishal Aggarwal demanded death penalty for the accused. He said that he has been told that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has already been formed in this case.

Ketan’s father said, “I have requested the CM that the accused should get at least death sentence. The CM has assured me that this case will be fast-tracked. I have been told that an SIT has been formed in the case.” He raised questions over the circumstances of the death and alleged that his son was targeted. He also mentioned the victim’s statements regarding her attire and travel plans.

Ketan’s father said, “We had clearly told them (Sia Goyal’s family) that Ketan uses a small patch of wig on his head. Could this be a reason to hit someone? As per my knowledge, it was Sia who wanted to go on the trek.
