India has to play a 2-match test series against Sri Lanka from 15th August. Earlier, R Ashwin has raised questions on the squad of Team India. According to Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah should not have been selected on the Sri Lanka tour. According to Ashwin, the pitches in Sri Lanka are spin friendly and hence Bumrah’s role will be less there. According to him, to manage Bumrah’s workload, he should have been kept out of the Sri Lanka Test series.

Why did Ashwin talk about keeping Bumrah out?

Bumrah will get a chance in only one test
