Now producer KVN Productions has confirmed that these reports are false and the film is yet to get certification. Vijay’s Jana Nayakan, directed by H Vinoth, has faced multiple delays from January 2026 due to censor objections, legal disputes and piracy leaks. Talking about the current status of the certification process, the producer said that CBFC has done the review, but they have asked for some more changes to be made before issuing the official certificate. “The picture that is being shared is fake. The CBFC has completed its review and has sent us the final list of changes. Once we complete the changes, we hope to get the certification and bring the film to the theatres,” he told The Indian Express.
