Preparations for the world famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri, Odisha have reached the final stage. The construction work of all three grand chariots has been completed. Now the artisans are busy giving final touches to the chariots and beautifully decorating them. Every year lakhs of devotees witness this holy journey. This year the Rath Yatra will start from July 16, in which Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra will appear on their respective chariots and give darshan to the devotees. This grand event of religious faith and cultural heritage holds special significance for the devotees of the country and the world.
