Invest MP: How much will Madhya Pradesh benefit from the presence of ambassadors of 15 countries? Will global business increase after exports of Rs 4,186 crore? Which areas have the most investment potential? A big international stage is going to be organized in the presence of CM Mohan Yadav.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the India-Latin America-Caribbean (LAC) Trade and Investment Forum-2026 to be held in Indore on June 6. Organized by Global India Business Forum (GIBF) in collaboration with the state government, this international event will be organized at Hotel Radisson Blu in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC). This forum is being considered an important step towards strengthening trade and investment relations between India and Latin America-Caribbean countries.
Ambassadors and senior diplomats of 15 countries will participate
Senior diplomatic representatives from 15 countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region will participate in the forum. These will include ambassadors of different countries, a High Commissioner and a Consul General. Apart from this, more than 350 representatives including investors, exporters, industry representatives, trade commissioners, entrepreneurs associated with MSME sector and senior government officials will be present in the program. Four major chambers of commerce and industry of the country will also participate in this event.
Madhya Pradesh government’s focus on attracting global investment
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state government is making continuous efforts to promote investment and international partnerships. Madhya Pradesh is creating its own identity among global investors by creating favorable policies for industries, strong infrastructure, fast decision making process and investor friendly environment. Under this strategy, this forum will become an important platform to increase access to new international markets and attract foreign investment.
Strong performance in exports, trade worth Rs 4,186 crore
The export performance of Madhya Pradesh is continuously improving. Exports from the state to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean region were recorded to be about Rs 4,186 crore in the financial year 2025-26, which is about 12.6 percent more than the previous year. The pharmaceutical sector has played an important role in this export. Brazil, Mexico and Chile are currently the major export markets of Madhya Pradesh.
Special Presentation on Investment Opportunities and Industrial Development
While addressing the forum, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will highlight Madhya Pradesh’s industrial achievements, investment possibilities and opportunities for global cooperation. ‘India-LAC Special Edition’ will also be released during the programme. Besides, a special presentation will be given on Madhya Pradesh’s investment potential, industrial development and business opportunities. In the forum, delegations from different countries will give presentations regarding their investment plans and business opportunities.
There will be discussion on pharma, automobile, textile and food processing
During the Forum, several important sessions will be organized to enhance cooperation in the manufacturing sector. There will be special discussions on opportunities related to pharmaceuticals, automobile, textile and food processing industries. Apart from this, possibilities of investment and cooperation in information technology (IT), tourism, fintech and education sector will be discussed in sessions related to service sector.
B2B and B2G meetings will open new investment avenues
The Forum will also organize Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings to promote direct interaction between industries and investors. New business partnerships, investment proposals and opportunities for industrial collaboration are expected to gain momentum through these meetings.

India-Latin America-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum-2026 will further strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s growing global economic presence. The event will play an important role in providing the state with new opportunities for international investment, export growth and global business partnerships.
