Offer Pizza to RAF Jawans: Amidst the ongoing CJP (Cockroach Janta Party) protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, a video has surfaced which has sparked a new discussion on social media. While pictures of demonstrations and police action were in the headlines for the last few days, now a video is going viral in which protesters are seen offering pizza to Rapid Action Force (RAF) soldiers. Many people are calling this video a message of respect and sensitivity amid the protests. In the video, a protestor walks up to RAF soldiers carrying a pizza box and tells them, “Eat sir.” Meanwhile, this message is also heard in the video that “We respect the uniform, but will not spare those who attack in civil dress.” The text written on the video is also attracting people’s attention – “You distribute sticks, we will distribute love only.” Watch the viral video below-

After the video went viral, a large number of people shared their opinions on social media. Many users described this step of the protesters as positive and said that protest has its place, but respect for the security forces is also necessary.
One user wrote, “Even when the other person shows harshness, one should not give up humanity.” While another described it as “a very sensitive and respectable initiative”. Some people said that this generation has chosen to respond with love and patience rather than anger.
Along with the viral video, many users also reminded that the police and RAF personnel present at the spot often perform their duty under the instructions of their superiors. Many comments said that it is not appropriate to hold every policeman directly responsible for any action.
One user wrote that policemen also have job and family responsibilities, so they are often forced to follow orders. Some people also said that if excessive force has been used somewhere then accountability should be fixed, but it would not be right to target every soldier at an individual level.

What is the whole matter?
CJP has been protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi for the last several days demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. There was a clash between police and protesters during the protest on Monday, following which lathicharge and tear gas were used to disperse the crowd. Despite this, demonstrations continued on Tuesday and Wednesday also.
Amidst this incident, the video of RAF soldiers offering pizza has presented a different picture of the protests. This video is being continuously shared on social media and people are seeing it as an example of dialogue, respect and human behavior amid protests. The video has received 48.5 million views so far while more than 2.2 million people have liked it.
