How to make date seed coffee
Material
- 10-12 date seeds
- 1 cup water or milk
- honey or jaggery as per taste
- A little cinnamon powder (optional)
How to make coffee
- First of all, wash the date seeds thoroughly so that the sweetness or dirt on them is removed. After this, dry them completely in the sun or under a fan.
- Roast the dry seeds in a pan on low flame for 15 to 20 minutes. When the seeds turn dark brown and smell like coffee, turn off the gas.
- Let the roasted seeds cool and then put them in a mixer or grinder and grind them finely. Your date seed coffee powder is ready.
- Heat water or milk in a pan and add 1 to 2 teaspoons of date seed powder in it. Boil it for 5 minutes so that the flavor comes out well.
- Filter the coffee and add honey, jaggery or cinnamon as per taste and drink it hot. It is considered a healthy and low caffeine drink.
