HNLU Bangkok MoU: Raipur based Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) has achieved a major achievement at the international level. The university signed a historic multilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 20 leading universities from South Asia, South-East Asia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during the prestigious AUAP-WURI Impact Summit 2026 held in Bangkok, Thailand. This agreement will strengthen global cooperation in the fields of higher education, research, innovation and sustainable development.

This international conference was held on 9 and 10 July 2026 at the famous ICONSIAM Convention Center in Bangkok. The theme of the conference was “University Innovation – Policy, System and Impact in Partnership with Government”. It was attended by Vice Chancellors of universities from across the world, education experts, policy makers and representatives from the innovation sector.
HNLU’s R-HaS model gets global appreciation
HNLU was represented in the conference by Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) V.C. Vivekanandan did it. He presented a case study based on the Research Hub and Spoke (R-HaS) Model of the university. Through this model, the university’s interdisciplinary research, externally funded research projects and socially useful research work were presented on the global platform. Experts appreciated this model and called it an effective research system.

Research, students and faculty will benefit from international collaboration.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Vivekanandan said that this multilateral MoU will give a new direction to the international cooperation of the university. During the conference, General Secretary of AUAP Prof. There were also detailed discussions with Dr. Anoop Swarup and Executive Secretary Dr. Supaporn Chuangchid on joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programs and organizing international conferences.

There will be joint cooperation in these areas under MoU
According to Article 3 of the agreement, all 20 universities will work together on research and innovation projects of global importance. Apart from this, joint work will also be done on exchange programs of faculty, researchers and students, promoting startup and innovation ecosystem, developing international workshops, conferences and case studies.
