However, now his manager has put an end to all these speculations and made it clear that this was not his comeback, but a professional commitment already made.
‘Yeh Awarapan’ was not a comeback, it was an old commitment
On Tuesday (July 21), the title track ‘Yeh Awarapan’ of Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Awarapan 2’ was released. As soon as the song was released, fans started speculating on social media that Arijit Singh has ended his retirement and started playback singing again. But Arijit Singh’s manager clarified that this song is not his comeback. He told that ‘Yeh Awarapan’ was a professional commitment already made, which Arijit has fulfilled. This should not be seen as his comeback.
Curiosity increased after the news of retirement
A few months ago, Arijit Singh had decided to distance himself from playback singing. After this, fans were continuously waiting for his new songs. In such a situation, after the release of the song of Awarapan 2, people felt that he has returned to Bollywood again. However, after the manager’s statement it has become clear that at present Arijit Singh has not made any change in his retirement decision.
