Ghaziabad Heavy Rain: The torrential rains in Delhi NCR and Noida-Ghaziabad have created havoc. Meanwhile, in Vasundhara, a Tata Punch car got stuck on the road i.e. got stuck in a pit. A scooter also got stuck in the same pothole.
New Delhi/Ghaziabad. The rains that are wreaking havoc in most of the states of the country have disrupted normal life. Water has entered people’s homes and offices. After the floods in Mumbai-Surat, now Noida and Ghaziabad are in the worst condition. Where roads have become rivers. People are facing problems due to waterlogging at many places.

While on one hand the rain provided relief from the humidity, on the other hand many parts of Noida and Ghaziabad were badly submerged in water. Many roads were submerged, and photographs showed people wading through knee-deep water. The worst condition was seen in Shastri Nagar area, where vehicles also drowned due to submergence of roads.

A video of the devastation caused by rain from Vasundhara area of Ghaziabad is going viral on social media. In which you can see how a part of the road caved in after heavy rains near Atal Chowk. Due to which a car and scooter fell into a pit.

Record 228.1 mm rain in Delhi
Delhi received a record 228.1 mm rainfall and ‘red’ and ‘orange’ alerts were also issued. Despite this, advance preparation by civic agencies largely saved Delhi from waterlogging. Authorities had already cleaned major storm drains in areas like Narela and Dwarka. For this reason, important underpasses like NHPC Chowk remained open and traffic continued to flow.
