The Cocktail 2 star gave her strong reaction to Kangana’s ‘bikini’ remark over the Mimi star’s choice of clothing in the video. Kriti called out Kangana for her opinions over her outfit in the ad and stated, “Culture and traditions are in her heart, not in her neckline.” Now, Kriti’s sister Nupur Sanon Ben has also reacted to Kangana’s comment. She reshared Kriti’s note on her Instagram story and asked the Queen star to ‘respectfully evolve’.
Nupur Sanon Hits Back At Kangana Ranaut
Nupur Sanon took to her Instagram story and penned a note to slam for her views on women’s outfits. She defended her sister Kriti Sanon and asked Kangana to evolve respectfully.
Nupur captioned the post, “Imagine being this bothered by what another woman chooses to wear. Respectfully, evolve. PS: I’m the one she tied the rakhi to, and if I don’t have a problem with it, why do you?” (sic)

For the unversed, had earlier shared a lengthy note on her story, in which she mentioned that the essence of festivals is not in the clothes people wear but in the emotions and meaning that are attached to the traditions.
While citing an example of her sister , Kriti said, “Raksha Bandhan is a bond of protection. My sister and I tie rakhi to each other. We know we can protect each other just as much as a brother would. We pray for each other’s health, happiness and long life. For us, this prayer and promise extend to our dogs too. After all, they are family!”
While slamming Kangana Ranaut, Kriti Sanon asked, “When will we stop telling women what to wear?” She mentioned that despite the evolution in ethnic fashion, a woman’s respect for her culture is still measured by her clothes.
