Gaurav Khanna broke his silence for the first time amid the news of divorce. Expressing his love and support for Akanksha Chamola, he said that he will stand by her all her life.
TV actor Gaurav Khanna has reacted publicly for the first time after the revelation of divorce from wife Akanksha Chamola. Recently, in the reality show ‘Lockup: Sach Ya Saja’, Akanksha had told that both of them are living separately for the last one year and are in the process of divorce. Now, while talking to the media on the sets of ‘Laughter Chefs’, Gaurav made it clear that whatever may be the status of the relationship, their love and respect is still the same as before. He wished Akanksha all the best and said that he will always support her. At the same time, Akanksha also openly told the reason for their separation.

On the sets of ‘Laughter Chefs’, when the paparazzi asked Gaurav Khanna about his well-being, he replied smilingly, “Just friend, same friend… Whatever was there before, is the same now. The love is still the same, the support is still the same. I will always support Akanksha, she is my wife. If I love then why should I step back?” Gaurav also wished good luck to Akanksha during the conversation. He said, “All the very best to Akanksha. Standing with her my whole life.”

What did Akanksha Chamola say about divorce in ‘Lockup 2’?
In the very first episode of ‘Lockup: Sach Ya Saja’, Akanksha Chamola had revealed that she and Gaurav have been living separately for the last one year and now both have decided to get a divorce. However, he also clarified that there is no bitterness between them. She said, “Things are not bad between me and Gaurav. We still talk to each other. We feel that we are not suited for each other as partners, because we both see the future in completely different ways. And unfortunately that future is not with each other.”
Why are Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola getting divorced?
In the third episode of ‘Lockup 2’, Akanksha Chamola also revealed the real reason for her separation from Gaurav Khanna. She said that she does not want to become a mother, while Gaurav wishes to have children. Akanksha said, “When we got married, I never had the feeling of becoming a mother. But I was ready to know that maybe with time this feeling would come. Gradually I realized that I was not made for this. At that time Gaurav also agreed with this, but with time his thinking changed.”

Akanksha further said, “Now he wants children and I can’t give it to him. I don’t have that feeling inside me, I told him this long ago. When I realized that I was not made for this, then I clearly said that I will not do this. Then we sat and talked and I told him that if he wants to leave me then leave me, there is nothing wrong in it.”
