EPFO: Relief to PF account holders, rules for removing duplicate member ID eased

Giving great relief to the employees, EPFO ​​has now given the facility that they can get the wrong or duplicate Member ID (MID) associated with their UAN removed. Earlier this facility was available only in limited cases, but now it has been extended to such cases where some money has been deposited in the wrong ID. However, if a claim has been made on that ID, is in process or has contributed more than 6 times, then it will not be removed.
