Indian team’s opener Abhishek Sharma and all-rounder Akshar Patel have been included in the NADA list. These players will now have to provide information about their whereabouts. If you fail to provide information about your whereabouts three times, it will be considered a doping violation. Abhishek and Akshar Patel have been included in place of Mandhana and Iyer. These players will have to be available for the test in a specific time limit. Apart from Abhishek and Akshar, Test and ODI captain Shubhman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Arshdeep Singh and Tilak Verma are also included in it.
Indian women’s cricket team players also included
From the Indian women’s team that won the ODI World Cup last year, all-rounders Deepti Sharma and Shefali Verma remain in this list along with Renuka Singh Thakur. Overall, NADA has included 14 cricketers in its list.
134 athletes also included
This time 134 athletes have been included in NADA RTP, this number was 118 last year. It includes all the big names like steeplechaser Avinash Sable, hurdler Jyoti Yaraji, decathlon player Tejaswin Shankar and sprinter Animesh Kujur. Shaili Singh and M Sreeshankar, who participated in long jump, and Tajinderpal Singh Toor, who participated in discus throw, have also been included in it. Three archers including experienced player Deepika Kumari, Rakesh Kumar Archery and famous para-archer Sheetal Devi are also included in it.
Along with hockey star Manpreet Singh, captain Harmanpreet Singh, Amit Rohidas and Hardik Singh, women’s team captain Salima Tete, Savita Punia and Navneet Kaur are also present. The eight-member badminton group includes PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen and Gayatri Gopichand and other players. There are 22 boxers in this list, which includes world champion winners Nikhat Zareen, Nishant Dev and Jasmine Lamboria as well as Olympic bronze medalist Lovlina Borgohain.
