According to the Meteorological Department, in many districts of Western Uttar Pradesh including Meerut, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), Bulandshahr, Baghpat, Hapur, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Moradabad, Rampur, Bijnor, Amroha, Sambhal, Agra, Mathura, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Aligarh, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Bareilly, Badaun, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur. There is a possibility of rain.

Rain alert has also been issued in many districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh including Gorakhpur, Deoria, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Amethi, Barabanki and Fatehpur.
