Washington: The draft of the ceasefire agreement to end the ongoing war between America and Iran has been leaked. American channel CNN has released the draft of this agreement with 14 conditions. This includes big things like completely ending the war, reopening the Strait of Hormuz and relaxing the economic sanctions imposed on Iran. According to this draft, Iran has promised that it will never make nuclear weapons.
According to CNN report, he got this document from an American official. A diplomat attending the G7 summit held in France has also confirmed to have seen this draft. Apart from this, two more diplomatic sources involved in the talks have also declared this information to be correct.
Under the agreement, the US will allow Iran to sell its oil and petrochemical products. If Iran fully fulfills the promises related to its nuclear program, it can also benefit from a development fund worth $300 billion. This fund will be created jointly by America and its allied countries. However, there is no clear mention in the draft as to what will be done with the uranium possessed by Iran.
It has been told in the report that this draft contains the same things on which US President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. It was digitally signed by Vance and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. There may be some changes in the final document, which will be completed in the coming days.
However, American officials say that this is only a political document and it does not include the details of the secret meetings that took place between the two countries regarding Iran’s nuclear program. The White House has refused to comment on this. At the same time, Iran’s government news agency ‘Tasnim’ has said that the leaked draft is not correct. After the signing of this memorandum on Friday, both the countries will get 60 days to complete negotiations on the terms of the final agreement.
14 conditions of the agreement between Iran and America
1. As soon as this agreement is signed, ceasefire will be implemented immediately on all fronts including Lebanon. Both countries will not take any hostile action, threat or use of military force.
2. Both countries will respect each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and will not interfere in domestic affairs.
3. Both parties will reach a final agreement with mutual consent within a maximum of 60 days. This time can be extended if needed.
4. America will lift the naval blockade as soon as the agreement is signed. Within 30 days, the movement of ships will be brought back to the pre-war situation. America will withdraw its troops within 30 days of signing the final agreement.
5. Iran will normalize the movement of ships from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman within 30 days. Iran will also monitor the removal of technical obstacles and mines from the sea route.
6. America and its allies will create a fund of at least $300 billion for Iran’s economic development and reconstruction. The outline for its implementation will be ready in 60 days.
7. The United States is committed to gradually eliminating all sanctions imposed on Iran, including unilateral sanctions imposed by the United Nations Security Council, the International Atomic Energy Agency, and the United States.
8. Iran makes it clear that it will never make nuclear weapons. The final agreement will decide on the enriched nuclear material possessed by Iran and other requirements.
9. Both sides will maintain the existing status quo until the final agreement is reached. Iran will not expand its nuclear program and the US will not impose any new sanctions or increase military forces in the region.
10. Until the sanctions are completely lifted, the US Treasury Department will immediately give Iran exemption for the export of crude oil, petrochemical products, banking, insurance and transport.
11. Considering the progress of negotiations, Iran’s funds and assets frozen in international banks will be completely released. This money can be used for development works as per the instructions of the Central Bank of Iran.
12. A special monitoring system will be created with the participation of both the countries to properly implement the final agreement and keep an eye on future commitments.
13. Only after the implementation of condition number 4, 5, 10 and 11 (movement of ships, exemption, fund release) of this agreement, both the countries will finalize the remaining conditions.
14. The final peace agreement between the two countries will be legally recognized and implemented through a binding resolution of the United Nations Security Council.
